Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to whychristmas.com
Why Christmas is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
This website endeavours to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.
On this site, you should be able to, for example:
- Change font size using the browser
- Zoom in up to 200% without breaking the layout, content or functionality
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability. However it's not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. For example, where we have created video and audio, we've done our best to add captions and transcriptions, etc. But if we've embedded videos which weren't made by us, they might not be captioned. Some of the external websites we link to may not have been tested for their accessibility.
We’re committed to making our website as accessible as possible. We review the accessibility of this website at least once a year.
If you experience any difficulty in accessing the website, please contact us on info@whychristmas.com.
